Critic by Laura Francesca Di Trapani in Woman’s Essence
For the Greek artist painting encloses everything becoming a plastic representation of feelings, fascinations of her inner world. The use of acrylic bright colours mixed with the stucco, turning the painting into a three-dimensional piece. No flat images, but rather a research attempting on making the matter jutting out, as if it would to stick out of the canvas, making it real.
The external environment represents her inspiration, an environment that evolves showing different aspects. The recognition of her own distinctive technique comes after years of study, especially those spent at the atelier of the famous Greek painter Stelios Mavromatis, her mentor.
